About Mark Clausen:
Former Navy SEAL, Mark Clausen and his wife France are the principles of the Veritas Group. The Veritas Group has achieved over $150M in real estate sales volume in the past three years alone. Mark has over 25 years of real estate experience in multiple aspects other than sales, from investing, construction, development and lending. Mark and his team at the Veritas Group work in the Austin and the Texas Hill Country markets, focusing primarily on luxury properties.
Mark’s extensive background in real estate began after his career, as a police officer in San Diego, CA. Together, he and France owned a development company where they got their start “flipping” properties. Their evolution as developers progressed to purchasing apartment complexes, renovating and subdividing into condo complexes. Mark oversaw every phase of development. As the project manager he was responsible for everything from procurement, construction, development, financials and day-to-day operations, down to design choices. Today, Mark and France continue to own a nationwide portfolio of investment properties.
Mark treats each client with the utmost care and negotiates as if every transaction were his own. He is known for his tremendous dedication, determination and negotiating savvy. His background as a Navy SEAL and as a police officer prepared him to handle situations adeptly, calmly and proactively. Mark’s goal is to fight hard to give his clients the best experience with optimal results. Originally from Chicago, Mark and France have called Dripping Springs home for more than 13 years. They have raised two children and are deeply rooted in their community and non-profits groups. Mark is also an animal lover with three German Shepherds and two cats. Mark and his family are fitness and sports-oriented. Their passions include working out at the gym and attending their kids sporting event.
