About Katherine Wright:
Katherine Wright leads with integrity, intensity, and a deep sense of community in both her professional and personal life. Originally from Baltimore, she studied photography and lighting design at Bennington College, honing a sharp visual sensibility that now informs her real estate work. Her career began in community relations at MBNA, where she helped engage over 13,000 employees in volunteer efforts. This commitment to people and service carried into her real estate career, first in Wilmington, Delaware, and now in Austin, Texas.
As a realtor with Moreland, Katherine specializes in the luxury residential market but is passionate about helping clients at any price point. Known for her high standards, competitive drive, and client-first mindset, she offers personalized service that extends far beyond the closing table. Her strong community ties are reflected in her active involvement on the boards of the Texas Book Festival and the Austin Theatre Alliance (the Paramount and State Theatres). She also serves as Executive Director of the Wright Family Fund’s Austin office and is a former board member of KIPP Austin.
An Austin resident for over 25 years, Katherine stays deeply connected to the city’s vibrant culture including theater, music, and fine dining. Outside of work, she’s an avid traveler, snowboarder, and hiker.
