Greg Walling

I connect people to their neighborhoods, to Austin, and to each other—but not necessarily in that order. People are the reason behind my work, and my love of this city makes it a lot of fun. Recognized as a Top Five Producer at Moreland Properties and a top real estate producer in Central Texas since 2014, my relationships are behind any success I've had. I'm driven by connection: matching the right people with the right property is a great feeling and connecting people with Austin is truly the best part of the job.

Though my focus is on the Central & South Austin/Westlake/Bee Cave & Lakeway corridor, I show properties from Liberty Hill to Spicewood, from lots to luxury lakefront estates. An Austin resident since 1989 (I'm a graduate of Westlake High School and the University of Texas), I've seen the city evolve and know the area well.

My involvement in the industry by being a member of the Austin Board of Realtors, Luxury League, Elite 25, the Austin Luxury Network, and both the Texas and National Associations of Realtors combined with a concierge-style approach to service gives my clients an edge in the market. White-glove service is about the details, and a new house isn't a home until every detail is taken care of. When clients call and text me post-sale to let me know how things are going and ask me for tips, I know they trust me with the details—and that they feel at home in Austin.

"Austin ambassador" is an unofficial role I embrace, and my friends and clients ask me for recommendations from dinner date spots to thoughtful gift ideas with a local touch. Barbecue and Longhorn football are two of my favorite things about Austin, and I'm a die-hard Texas sports fan.

My office view at Moreland Properties reminds me how lucky I am to be in this town: working next to Mozart's Coffee overlooking Lake Austin is a great place to be every day. I get to live and work in one of the best spots in the country, and helping others do the same is the best part of what I do.

A die-hard Longhorn with a Bachelor’s degree in business and corporate communications, was lucky enough to be a Silver Spur: a handler for Texas’ famous mascot, Bevo, and I walked onto the golf team at UT. While I love the game, I don't get the chance to play much these days. My wife Keri and I are the parents of young twins who keep us on our toes, but when we do get out, we enjoy trying new restaurants and attending charity benefits.

Looking to move to or within Austin? Need to put a golf foursome together?
